What this Blog is about...

I would like to thank Blog Spot for this oppurtunity to express my views on the world today, and hopefully I'll get some feedback from this site.
We are living today in a troubled world, motivated by fear and driven by greed.  I'm not one for idealistic utopias, but the title refers to a time in the future wheren hopefully we as people will have sorted out many of our differences and will live in a modicum of peace.  We'll get to that place in the end, and I fervently believe that.
The site address, "outgunned", is merely a reflection on the fact that at this time, anyone who wants to change the existing status quo faces a lot of obstacles.  I am a person who wants to make changes, but I fear that I'll be branded with the term radical or revolutionary. It's my belief that, despite the odds, one man can make a difference, and that is the great strengh of the democracy as an institution-justice can prevail and the people will be served.  However, with the attitude of many Big Shots and politicians in the world today it is going to be a hard slog.
I intend to put down my various political thoughts on this site, as well as other ideas which strike me as time goes by.
