Bah...
Well, it happened. One God and Jihad, a bunch of cruel, vile, disgusting oppurtunistic shmucks executed Ken Bigley on Friday somewhere in Baghdad, where he had been held captive since last month. As you may have gathered from the two posts below I felt and still feel that Mr Bigley's kidnapping and tragically inevitable death would have serious repercussions here in Great Britain.
Alas, instead of realising that policy in Iraq is still a very important issue for the Coalition, as well as Britain and America, Tony Blair has instead distracted us, the voting public, yet again with more rot about banning fox-hunting. As most imternet surfers these days tend to be American i'm shifting my focus for the benefit of American readers, and I ask you that despite the inherent violence of the hunt, is it not a right, a freedom to be preserved at all cost, and not to be taken away by a government whose leader insists on distracting us from the issue at hand?
Can you imagine the average American being stripped of the ability to go out and hunt, a pastime of immense popularity over in America? It is not likely at all.
So now Ken Bigley is dead at the hands of a barbaric clan "preaching the word of Allah". I just wish I could read their damn thoughts when they find out that they're not going to paradise when they die.
Fate has its ways, and I trust that some day the swine who instigated this atrocity will recieve their just desserts.
